As Summer’s go, it’s not been too bad down at Strip HQ….. London has treated us to a fair few sunny days and we’ve enjoyed flaunting our (perfectly preened) pins in many a rooftop bar.
With all this extra skin on show you may have started noticing a small blemishes that you’d rather see the back of (just us?). The team at Strip have been swotting up with our renowned laser trainer and can now offer new laser treatments to improve the appearance of many skin imperfections.
As well as laser hair removal, our advanced, medical grade laser system can also be used for thread vein removal, skin pigmentation and skin rejuvenation.
Some of these small areas can be treated safely and effectively in as little as one session and will leave your skin looking youthful and refreshed.
You may have spotted these little devils on the tops of your thighs or around your face; they are small capillaries which don’t do any harm but can be quite noticeable. We can remove them quickly and safely without affecting any of the surrounding tissue to leave skin looking brand new. Our highly trained technicians will direct the laser over the unwanted veins, heating up the lining of the blood vessel wall. This causes the vein to collapse: smaller veins break down almost immediately and larger ones diminish over a short period of time. It’s much less invasive than other vein removal treatments such as sclerotherapy and you can be out of the door in 30 minutes with no obvious scarring/marks. Safety is always our priority but this is honestly the sort of thing you can have on your lunch break and no one would know.
Chances are if you’re a bit of a sun goddess you will have started to notice darker age spots, sometimes called liver spots, appearing on your skin. These ‘pigmented lesions’ are essentially a concentrated area of melanin (the chemical in skin that makes us look tanned) and we get more of them as we get older.
Laser is the perfect solution to treat any unsightly pigmented areas that maybe bothering you. The GentleMax laser targets the melanin within these darker brown areas meaning the surrounding skin won’t be affected. The laser will heat these areas, causing a fine crust to form. This then peels away removing with it, your unwanted age or sun spots. Between 1 and 3 treatments should be enough to reveal softer, smoother and more radiant skin. You will really notice a different in the overall appearance of your skin as the smoother and more youthful skin emerges.
Small areas will take less than 30 minutes to treat and you will only feeling a small twinge (our customers have described it as a ‘snap’) which really doesn’t hurt.
If you’ve reached the point where the face creams aren’t cutting it for your any more, laser skin resurfacing could be the treatment for you. Our laser skin tightening can really help turn back the hands of time and is ideal for anyone worrying about loose skin and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. This minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure is super-efficient at treating skin on the face, jawline, neck, upper arms, abdomen and knees. It works by stimulating collagen production and the end result is a more toned and youthful appearance. A brilliant solution for men and women of all skin types and skin tones, it is most effective on those aged between 30-60 years old who have mild to moderate skin laxity/ageing. You will notice results after the first appointment but for maximum results we do recommend a course of this treatment.

You will need to be out of the sun for a few weeks before your laser treatment starts and for a while afterwards. We have a full range of high performance SPF 50 Heliocare products to help with this
